An experienced and dynamic presenter with UK’s First English Language Muslim Channel, he started his media career some 12 years ago with the likes of BBC, Channel 4, and more recently as an entertainment presenter on ATN Global. His move to Islam Channel came in August of 2005 after being approached by the channel insiders to write new programme concepts for the channel. Currently he plays active role in the channel as presenter, Producer and Documentary / short films director.

By profession and practice, Rizwan Hussain is Barrister and Lecturer of Law who has also worked in a professional capacity as a Human Rights lawyer for the Home Office. His career so far includes working as a Lecturer of Laws, Police Officer, Journalist and actor.

Shaykh Adil Al –Kalbaani (Imaam of Haram – Makkah)

Adil ibn saalim ibn saeed al kalbani was born in Riyadh in 1378 AH on the 25th of Ramadan on a Friday. He is married and has 5 sons and two daughters.

He studied quran with shaykh ahmad Mustafa, and he got an ijazah of hafs form aasim from shaatabis line. Shaykh Muhammed ibn nahban Egyptian also gave him an ijazah to recite aasim from the shaatabi line. Shaykh Muhammed abu rawash also gave him an ijazah of hafs from the line of fil. Also he got an ijazah from shaykh Muhammed abdul hameed to recite kaaloon from nafi from the line of shaatabi.and he studied “al baqarah” from shaykha umm saad with the recitation of abi umar al basree by the transmission of dawree and sawsee

Sheikh Mujahid Ali

Sheikh Mujahid Ali came to England at a young age and was brought up in the North of England. During his teens he started his Islamic studies at the Institute of Islamic Education in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where he studied the Islamic sciences according to the Dars Nizami curriculum. In 2002 he completed his hadith studies under Sheikhul Hadith Mufti Muslihuddin, Sheikh Yusuf Darwan, Sheikh Mufti Musa Badat and Sheikh Abul Qasim, from whom he received ijazah. He then traveled to Syria for further studies in Hadith under several mashayikh (scholars) such as Sheikh Mohammad Asa'd Saeed As-Sagarji Ad- Dimashqi, and also studied advanced Arabic at Ma'had al-Lugah a branch of Damascus University.

Since 2004 the sheikh has been an Arabic language and Tajweed teacher at Ebrahim College. Whilst teaching both these subjects he has compiles an anthology of Arabic literature as a literature textbook, and written a commentary on al-Muqaddamah al-Jazariyyah in tajweed, both of which will soon be published. He is currently the head of Arabic Language at Ebrahim College. The sheikh also has ijaazah in al-Qira’aatal-Sab’ from the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury and teaches this to advanced tajweed students at Ebrahim College

Sheikh Fakhar-Uz-Zaman

Is Imam and principle of St. Albans Mosque and Madrasah, he studied at Darul-Uloom in dewsbury and has Ijaaza to teach Tajweed.

Sheikh Akhtar Hussain

Is a teacher at Mazahirul Uloom in London and teaches Qir’at and Tajweed to students of Islamic sciences.

Sheikh Abdul Mannan

Is a teacher of Tajweed in London’s Stepney Shahjalal mosque and Madrasah.
