The Dawah Project
Contribute to the spread of Islam
What is The Dawah Project?

The Dawah Project is a fundraising scheme set up by Islam Channel. It aims to encourage viewers to support Islam Channel by making a voluntary monthly subscription. This subscription will allow Islam Channel to remain free to air, independent and most importantly continue in its mission to be at the forefront of spreading dawah through the media.

What is the role of The Dawah Project at Islam Channel?

The Dawah Project is absolutely crucial for the survival of Islam Channel, as it is a non government funded organisation. We do not want funding from those who will dictate what we air and how we portray our news and views. The Dawah Project is one of the key avenues of revenue for Islam Channel, thus we are relying on our funding to come from you, the viewer.

What does your subscription go towards?
1. Spread Dawah by making Islam Channel global

Help fulfil Islam Channels global vision, with your continued support we can e xpand Islam Channel to reach America and as far as Australia and New Zealand, making Islam Channel truly global.

For some, Islam Channel could be a vital educational tool to better themselves as Muslims and for others it could be the lifeline they are looking for in taking that first step to Islam. Whatever the reason, Islam Channel will be educating the Ummah and you would know that you have played a part.

Islam Channel strives to be at the forefront of spreading dawah through the media. As Muslims we must try our utmost to eradicate negative stereotypes and misconceptions about our faith. We aim to tackle these issues through our programming.

2. Programming

Islam Channel has a vast range of programs aimed to inform, educate and entertain our viewers. With your subscription we can continue to improve our current programming and invest in new programs.

Recently Islam Channel has focused much of its programming towards children. In order for our children to be ambassadors of Islam, it is crucial they have the correct guidance from a young age. We want to improve the quality of our children’s programming to make them more appealing to youngsters.

Our religious programming accounts for 40% of all programs shown on Islam Channel and is continually increasing. Millions of viewers benefit from watching our Live Taraweeh Prayers, Hajj coverage and Jummah Khutbah, not to mention the Live Daily Prayers we now have from Makkah. We want to continue to bring this coverage to you from the holy land but can only do so with your help.
