This week we want to know - What has been your most memorable Eid and why?

My most memorable Eid was last year!
Because i had just recently learnt to pray, and i had also made the decision to wear the Hijab. It was a very special time for me because i felt a huge, calm spiritual effect after praying and fasting for the whole month. I now realise how important it is to pray [Alhamdulilah] and keep close to Allah. Another reason why it was so memorable is because I learnt about islam more (i was not taught about islam that much by my parents). Eid was also fantastic last year because I went out to have a nice family meal at Edgware road - it was a real treat after fasting for the whole month! Last years ramadan & Eid was definately the best by far. I am just so glad Allah [swt] willed me to be a muslim. Alhamdulilah!
