By using the Forum, you are agreeing to abide by and comply with the Terms & Conditions below. We may from time to time update the Terms & Conditions without any notice to you.

Forum Use

You agree that you will not:
 
  1. Post any material that is unlawful, threatening, provoking harassing, abusive, harmful, vulgar, indecent, or obscene.
  2. Post any material that infringes any intellectual property right, including trademark, patent, copyright or trade secrets of a party.
  3. Impersonate any other person or entity in the forum, including but not limited to employees, presenters, volunteers of Islam Channel, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with another person or entity.
  4. Disclose your personal information (including, names, email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses) on message board posts.
  5. Post any knowingly false or defamatory comments about others.
  6. Post any material that contains software viruses, programs or files that are designed to interrupt, limit the functionality or destroy any computer hardware or software or telecommunications equipment.
  7. Post any material that is invasive of another’s privacy or confidentiality.
  8. Argue with the monitor publicly.
  9. Register more than once as a user of the forum.
  10. Make personal attacks on anyone based on their race, colour, sex, religious beliefs, age, sexual orientation, gender or nationality.
  11. Use bad language or offensive language
  12. Provide links to third party websites unless given prior written permission from the monitor. The exception to this condition is links that are relevant to a particular discussion as a point of reference. Islam Channel is not liable for the content of any such web sites that can accessed through the forum.
  13. Re-register on the forum once you have been banned in any way including using another name or email address not known to us.
  14. Advertise commercial interests on the forum
  15. Post in a language other than English
  16. Arrange personal meetings with other forum users
  17. Engage in disruptive activity on the forum, such as off the topic comments
  18. Post material of an un-Islamic nature, including back biting
  19. Use chains to highlight their point or discussion
  20. Cause division between users or different groups
  21. Use a name that resembles another person or which is obscene
  22. Post any details of upcoming events. Details of events should be sent directly to monitor@islamchannel.tv to place on the Islam Channel events section
  23. Discuss sectarian issues
  24. Post repetitive/comments threads, i.e spamming
You agree that:
  1. The Monitor/s moderates the discussion forums.
  2. The Monitor/s may move a forum thread to a more appropriate forum area.
  3. The Monitor/s may close a thread, for any reason. 
  4. The Monitor/s may issue a warning if there is a breach of these Terms & Conditions, without notice. If the behaviour continues, then the user will be banned, without notice.
  5. The Monitor/s has the right to remove or delete at any time in part or is its entirety any material that you submit which is in violation of these Terms and Conditions, without notice. 
  6. The Monitor/s may ban any user at any time for any reason without notice. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into nor will we be obliged to explain such a banning
  7. The Monitor/s actions are in its discretion. 
  8. The Monitor can be contacted directly if you find any posts to be objectionable, however, it is in the discretion of the Monitor to take any action against any users. 
  9. Should there be a breach of these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to take any legal or equitable remedies against you.
  10. You are responsible and liable for any material you submit on the forum and we are no way responsible or liable for the conduct of users or the content of the messages posted on the forum. 
  11. You will indemnify and hold us and our agents harmless with respect to any claim based upon a post you make.
